Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020

Marek Dutkiewicz, founder and former CEO of HR Campus, is EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 in the retail/services sector in Switzerland. The award ceremony took place at a hybrid online gala.

For the 23rd time, the auditing and consulting firm EY honoured outstanding and deserving business personalities in Switzerland. A total of 60 entrepreneurs from all over Switzerland stood for election; of the 15 finalists selected, the jury chose Marek Dutkiewicz as the winner in the "Services/Trade" category.

Unlimited entrepreneurship

Marek Dutkiewicz, founder and former CEO of HR Campus, won in the "Services/Trade" category because his CV shows that true entrepreneurship knows no borders. Marek Dutkiewicz came to Switzerland as a Polish refugee and founded HR Campus in 1998 as a technology provider for HR departments. Today, with more than 170 employees, the company is the leading service and IT provider dedicated to HR excellence.

The EY Award means a lot to Marek Dutkiewicz: "I would never have dreamed of this. I am grateful for the support of my wife, my children and the entire HR Campus Team. Winning shows me once again that nothing is impossible. It's worth fighting and never giving up. HR Campus is my life's work and winning spurs me on to invest even more in HR excellence and my dreams."

The EY "Entrepreneur Of The Year" Award

Every year, the auditing and consulting firm EY honours entrepreneurs who have made a name for themselves through special services with the "Entrepreneur Of The Year" award in five categories. The award ceremony traditionally takes place as part of a festive gala. Due to the current situation, EY decided early on to organise this year's award ceremony in the form of a hybrid gala. This year's award show was streamed live from the Swiss Television studio in Zurich on 30 October 2020 in compliance with a strict protection concept. The jury, finalists and organisers were present on site. The invited guests, including the families and friends of the award winners, were able to take part in the ceremony virtually and interact with each other thanks to the live stream. In total, over 1,000 viewers from 20 countries took part in this digital premiere.
