Initial situation
SBB is the largest transport company in Switzerland and employs over 30,000 people. As one of the country's most important employers, SBB was faced with the challenge of bundling its decentralised recruitment activities in a Competence Centre Recruitment. The aim was to create a uniform and efficient solution for application management that would centralise and optimise the entire recruitment process.
SBB introduced new recruitment processes to fulfil the increasing requirements for sustainable and modern recruitment. This solution should ensure a pleasant, fast and efficient process for everyone involved - from managers to applicants.

Solution
With the introduction of the SuccessFactors Recruitment module, SBB bundled its recruitment activities and ensured a smooth application process. The module offers a centralised platform that enables various recruitment processes to be handled efficiently. Particular emphasis was placed on optimising the experience for everyone involved - from managers to recruiters to applicants - and integrating state-of-the-art tools such as video interviews and automatic applicant matching.
Project
Implementation of SuccessFactors Recruitment was carried out in a clearly structured project organisation. The successful integration of two different recruitment processes in one tool is particularly noteworthy. After completion of the project, an interdisciplinary product team was formed from HR, IT and HR Campus, which works according to agile scrum methods. This team ensures the stable operations of the tool and at the same time drives continuous development.
Regular joint working days on site promote the exchange of experience and team spirit. The "Recruitment" module serves as the heart of the Sourcing, Recruitment & Talent department, and numerous enhancements such as video interviews, language tests, employee referral programmes, CRM for the talent network and psychological tests have been successfully implemented in the meantime.
