Initial situation
BKW AG was faced with the challenge of modernising its HR processes and making them more efficient in order to meet the increased requirements for flexible and future-oriented HR management.
The existing software solution was no longer able to fulfil the different needs of employees and managers. The decision was therefore made to introduce a new HCM system in order to comprehensively optimise and digitalise the various HR processes. The aim was to standardise the processes and at the same time increase user-friendliness in order to ensure effective support for the company's strategic objectives.
Solution
In the first phase of the project, the Performance & Goals, Learning and Recruitment modules were introduced. These cornerstones enable HR to identify the best candidates and provide employees with targeted training content. In addition, a modern and system-supported annual appraisal can be carried out at the end of the year.
Project
The use of the talent modules and the integration of SuccessFactors with S/4Hana have resulted in promising synergies. BKW AG is noticing this progress in its daily work with the new HR system.
After the tool was well received by employees and line management, BKW AG also opted for SuccessFactors when expanding other HR modules. With the aim of optimising strategic employee development and succession planning, the Succession & Development and Compensation modules were also introduced as additions. HR Campus is looking forward to continuing to support BKW AG in the strategic development of its digital HR suite in the future.
